I just thought I would rewrite this page… The previous incarnation of this page has been labeled as brilliant, by a number of spammers, so I wondered how remarkable it would be if I put something up that actually said something besides “I am not a reporters I am just telling you my view of things” and asking that you think about what I write…
Of course you don’t have to agree.
So this, like the rest of the blog, is about ME.
I was born in Raleigh NC in 1955, seems like a long time to me.. In 1956 we moved to Sarasota Fl. and for the most part have lived here ever since… From 1965 to 1969 we lived in the Town n Country section of Tampa, at 6401 Crest hill Drive. In 1969 we moved back to MY Sarasota and lived on the corner of Browning and Brink. In 1974 I went into the Air Force as a newly badged Security Policeman, Security Spec. In that time I was stationed at Tyndall AFB, in north Florida, and then from 1977 to 78 I was at Osan AB in Korea when I got out and the family moved back to Sarasota.
I took classes on the GI bill untill 1980 when I decided to go back into the Air Force. I was stationed at MacDill AFB until late in 82 when I went to Hahn AB in Germany. Sometime in 83 I remembered why it was I got out in the first place, and so, in 84 I got out again.
That summer I got a Security Lic. and started to work for a number of Companies. By 98 I was tired of that and went to work for Wal-Mart at #2459 on Cattleman Rd. In 2006, after separating from them, I went to the Sarasota County Technical Institute to learn Cisco networking… In enjoyed the classes so much I took them several times, hopping that enough would sink in for me to get certified… In 08 I got pancreatitis and spent sometime at the lovely Doctor’s Hospital, and got out just in time to finish my class, and find that the job market had gone bust.
After some time of job hunting it was suggested that I stay home as a caregiver, and I have been doing that since…
That Joe Guy..
