I keep looking at President Obama’s Administration and I see the Doomsday clock getting set forward…
I am not like a lot of people who see him as purposely tearing down the United States. I see his actions, in the White House, as a continuing effect of his time as a community activist where he brought problems to people attention but did not offer any solutions. As a community activist he had no authority to make changes, but if he got enough community pressure behind him he could make the people with that Authority come up with solutions to the problems, even if they just did it to stay in power. That might have been fine for him in Chicago, where he, like many others, could force other people to make the kind of changes that needed to be made, but while not having to actually come up with what changed had to be made, or even know how to make the changes.
One of the biggest qualifications, he told us, for his being President, was his time in the state Legislature and the Senate. His time in the Senate was mostly spent trying use that as leverage to get him into the White House. There does not seem to be an evidence that he was learning how to fix anything, and looking at the job that our congress has done in the last couple of years, there is little evidence that he would have learned, from the Congress, how to fix anything.
Just take a look at some of the people had had working for him.
A Secretary of State, whose main base of knowledge for foreign affairs came from the fact that she was married to an ex-president who had on of the worst records of achievement in that field since Jimmy Carter. Hillary Clinton has been involved in questionable activities going back to the famous White Water mess, and still she can not seem to avoid stepping on the mines.
His Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Nepolitano, just kept up making stupid remarks, such as the saying that there very fact the failure of a terrorist bomb failed to function, ON THE AIRPLANE, proved that the system worked. Someone with common sense would have realized that the bomb getting on the airplane just proved that the system DID NOT WORK.
His picks for both the IRS and the Secret Service have been failures… The IRS spent time investigating non-profit Republican organization in an effort to derail their tax free status, and showed it was less interested in enforcing the law than playing politics. His pick to head the Secret Service, a woman who said the Secret Service should be more like Disney World, has resulted in a derailment of the protection of this President.. I won’t talk about how several people have landed some type of aircraft on the White House ground but I will mention the guy that walked into the front door of the White House and if it had not been for an OFF DUTY Secret Service agent, who was acting as a tour guide, he would have made it into the Residential part of the White House… With the kind of security that should be placed on the safety of the President, any of them, it should be protocol to at least “lock the front door” when no one is expected, or station people there who are smart enough to know that guy did not belong there.. We may as well have had Micky Mouse as protection but then again he is in the Oval Office. Or if they are not screwing up the protection of the President there they are cavorting with hooker when out of the country…
Speaking of Hookers, the DEA agents in Columbia, not South Carolina, attend parties with hooker that are thrown by the Drug Cartels. Probably a way to either influence the agents, or at least find out who they are.
Now, before you reply that I don’t like Obama, your right, I would have to say that he appears to be an earnest guy in an office that is why over his head.. He seems reasonable. Then he says things like “you can even keep your present Doctor under Obamacare”, even though many people who signed up for it found out that was not true. He even said he was sorry for the people who believe he knew what he was talking about but made no effort of fix it.
I now get, took long enough, to my maid point. I mention these thing because I wish to remind you that he has not shown any understanding of what the job entails.
I think the Iran Nuclear Treaty sounds nice.. The problem that presents itself has to do with the past conduct of Iran.. Lets go back to the days, with Jimmy Carter, when the Iranians, in violation of International Law and conduct, seized the U.S. Embassy in Tehran. The Iranians said that the people who seized it, and threatened to kill the people inside, were college students. Most of them, as seen on news broadcast, look to be in their 30s and 40s. Regardless of who they were it was the responsibility of the host government to ensure the safety of the people and the sovereignty of the Embassy grounds. Tehran did neither though they would have expected the other governments to protect their personnel. A group invading a foreign Embassy in the United States would find themselves facing SWAT team that would get them out of the Embassy.
Now let us look at another situation.. After the first Gulf War, with Iraq’s Saddam Hussein, we signed a peace treaty them that said we could inspect certain building for chemical weapons. What the Iraqis did was, when the Inspector’s showed up, they delays entry into the bases. Between the time they showed up and the time they were let in satellite coverage show numerous trucks streaming out of the back of the base. Were they hiding evidence of Chemical Weapons, or were they just trying to make their neighbors think they had them.. I don’t know.. Even President Clinton, and later Hillary, said they thought he had WMDs.
The thing to think about is : even if we get a good treaty with Iran, their past conduct show a disregard for International Law and Treaties. So, if we make a treaty with them about Nuclear Weapons research can we believe they will abide them, one of the high ranking Generals in the Quds force has said they will not allow Americans on their bases for any reason.. If the treaty passes, and they then deny us access will the White House move to reimpose the sanctions, or will they just cave in and negotiate some more, like they do with North Korea.. It could bed that Obama’s biggest legacy will be giving Iran free reins to developing a Nuclear capacity they could use to threaten their neighbors with.. That is a thought that worries Israel, who the Iranians have said they want to destroy.
At least Obama hasn’t sent the Rev. Al Sharpton over as an ambassador, think of all the riots he could cause over there..
