So What?

Originally I was planning to make a post about Connie Mack IV, and the Democratic ads about his possible history of bar fights and road rage…  These incidents were to have taken place something like 20 years ago, and people do change so, maybe there is nothing to worry about.  Not that I was planning to lose any sleep over it.

I just bring it up so we can look at this supposed history, there are two sides to every conflict, to diced if this is the kind of person we want to give power to…  any power.

No, today I just wanted to put in a short word about the Republican National Conference’s reaction, which was to put out a counter ad that pointed out that Bill Nelson’s son had an arrest record…  So what?

My question is : if we are expected to be so sensitive about Bill Nelson’s son’s history then , why would the ever expect us to vote for Connie Mack IV who has a history himself?

Are they trying to convince us that the son’s actions reflect how Bill Nelson raised him, or that, maybe, the son’s actions will effect the father?

I just don’t happen to see the relevance.

Thank you,

That Joe Guy.

Ex SSgt in Air Force Security Police... I had 10 years of active duty and inactive reserve. I have a total of 20 years, includes Air Force SP, security experience. I also worked 8 years and 4 months in the Garden Center of the Sarasota Cattleman Walmart. I also took the CCNA class at Sarasota Vo-Tech, when it was still called that. I am now, since 2010 a caregiver for my Mother. While I am now a registered Republican I am more likely to vote for whichever person I believe will do a better job.. In the last presidential elections I voted Libertarian, as I the two main choices seemed to be between lying crook, or an uncouth babler who could not be trusted.

  1. Rep Connie Mack IV (R-Fla.) is running for his father’s old U.S. Senate seat, currently held by moderate Democrat Bill Nelson. (Mack currently represents the same district his father did in the House of Representatives.) Mack’s opponent for the Republican nomination is George LeMieux, who was an appointed U.S. Senator for a little more than a year, and apparently grew to enjoy the gig. LeMieux, trying to make conservative voters forget about his long association with hated ex-Republican ex-governor Charlie Crist, is fighting dirty, accusing Mack of awful things like not paying child support (false) and having a bizarre history of public brawling, leading on one occasion to his arrest. That one’s… true.
